🎥 Behind the Promo: A Thank You to Morris

Some projects mean more than just the final product - and this is one of them.

I approached Corey, known to everyone as Morris, about making this promo as a way to say thank you. He trained me for my first ever wrestling match, and this was my chance to give something back.

From day one, I knew this couldn’t be just another hype video. It had to tell the real story: the kid who started as a quiet, timid trainee and became the BMF standing in the main event of CPW History 12 Night Two. Together, we dug through years of memories, old matches, and milestone moments to build something that’s not just about the fight, but about the journey that made him who he is.

We shot everything on greenscreen, layered in dramatic visuals, smoke, the wrestling ring, the mountain - every backdrop chosen to echo the struggles, the setbacks, the moments of triumph.

What came out of it is a promo that people are already calling one of the best on the UK indie wrestling scene - but more importantly, it’s a tribute. A tribute to hard work, resilience, and the man who helped me step through the ropes for the first time.
